In what is the latest in a series of press coverage, The Pittsburgh Business Times wrote a fantastic feature story on Monday covering Rhiza’s major accomplishments in the first half of the year.
Among the topics discussed were our recent growth spurt (and we are growing fast), our new customers, our new marketing product, and our search for a new location for Rhiza Headquarters.
To put our growth in perspective, our team tripled in size last year, and so far, we’ve added five new employees and several interns into the mix in 2015. We’re also looking to bring on about five more by the end of the year. Here’s an excerpt from the PBT article:
“Rhiza, which has grown to more than 30 employees, occupies about 7,000 square feet at its office on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside. Knauer said the company is looking to take about 14,000 to 16,000 feet of space in the East End that will allow room for additional growth.”
This explosive growth has caused us to outgrow our Pittsburgh office. While Ellsworth Avenue has served as Rhiza’s home for over seven years, our 7,000 square feet of office space is becoming a bit cramped, and as a result, we’re in the process of searching for a roomier location to serve as the new Rhiza Headquarters on Pittsburgh’s East End.
Also in 2015, we’re thrilled to work with our two latest customers: the BBC and Cox Automotive, both which are serving as flagship customers for our brand new Rhiza for Marketing product. But that doesn’t mean our existing customers are feeling left out. In case you missed it, check out our customer testimonial featuring Bret Rice of Comcast describing the whopping $12 million increase in revenue his division saw as a result of using Rhiza last year.
The first half of 2015 has been a wild ride for Rhiza. Stay tuned to see what happens in the second half.
